We say goodbye to the off-season. NO WINTER ROOM is available during the unwaited period. The hut will be open again from the end of May. For reservations, please fill out the form on our website. During the holidays we are sometimes offline for a few days, but afterwards we are happy to be there for you almost around the clock. Opening times summer 2024
from the end of May to the beginning of November.
The exact start of the season depends on snow and weather conditions and will be communicated on the website under “Conditions”.
Our stargazer bed is winter-proof and the place is covered in deep snow – but it will be available again in summer 2024.
The star bed (a double bed) is located a few meters in front of the Lötschenpasshütte in the open air and offers a unique view of the mountain peaks of the Valais and the small lake.
It is equipped with:
- cozy blankets
- warm bed bottles
- modern infrastructure with toilets and showers in the hut
If it is cold or bad weather conditions, two beds are reserved in the shared room in the mountain hut.
Book an unforgettable night at 2700m under millions of stars and with an unobstructed view on the Bietschhorn and the Valais four-thousanders. The booking platform will be open from the beginning of January 2024.
We are also represented on instagram and regularly post current pictures of the Lötschenpass and hut life. We would be happy if you followed us too.
