With the gondola Wiler- Lauchernalp you can easily reach the shortest hut ascents both in summer and in winter.
From Kandersteg train station there’s a private bus to Selden in Gasterntal and back. Only in summer. Reservation required!
by car
From Bern and Brig you reach the starting points of the walks by car.
Parking is available in Wiler at the cable car, in Ferden in the car park and in Kandersteg train station or the municipal parking lot in the village center.
The Gasterntal can also be reached by car and only in summer. Note: in the Klus prevails time controlled one-way traffic! Also, this road is subject to approval. Tickets cost 12 CHF per day and can be solved at the entrance of the valley at the vending machine. In Selden only a limited number of spaces are available. The parking of the hotels are to be used only after consultation with the hotel owners and payment of a parking fee!
