The Loetschenpass hut, 2690 m asl
The hut is located on the historic pass crossing, which connects Kandersteg and the Loetschental together and can accommodate 80 people. It is open in summer and winter and offers many opportunities for mountain enthusiasts, families, schools, snowshoers, tourers and those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle to rest.
In the years 2007 and 2008 the house was enlarged and rebuilt after Minergie standard. The light-filled dining room allowes the outstanding views of the Valais Alps and the spacious rooms invite you to stay. Local products form the foundation for the freshly prepared dishes with which we spoil our guests. The attentive cabin staff will ensure that your stay is an unforgettable experience.
