We are postponing the start of the season by a few days and will be happy to welcome you again from January 29, 2021. During the unsupervised time, no winter room is available, the hut is closed! We look forward to your visit to our winter paradise.
There is still enough space to stay overnight for the next few days! Enjoy lots of sunshine, even more fresh air and the wonderful tranquility of the mountains and escape for a moment from everyday life to recharge your batteries. We are there for you continuously until January 10th, 2021. Day guests can enjoy our take-away offer outside the hut. Today fresh almond peaks and chocolate cake to go! The approach from the Hockenhorngrat was made several times yesterday by touring skiers, as was the return trip via Satteleggi to Lauchernalp. Gitzifurgge is also groomed and committed several times yesterday. Downhill runs, however, are still only slightly snowed in, especially below about 2200m.
Hut open to overnight guests, day guests can take advantage of our take-away offer. Approach from Hockenhorngrat committed yesterday. The return journey via Satteleggi to Lauchernalp is only a little snowed in, as are descents into the valley. Crossing over the Gitzifurgge not recently committed. We currently recommend the way back (ascent) via Hockenhorngrat to the Lauchernalp ski area. Please note the currently valid avalanche bulletin and equip yourself accordingly.
We have ended the 2020 season and will soon be leaving the hut and its surroundings to rest. There is no winter room available during the unattended period!
